PLC Board Integrates 4.3-in. Resistive Touchscreen

Nov. 4, 2014
The HMI430 board-level programmable logic controller (PLC) from SPLat Controls comes integrated with a 4.3-in. color resistive touchscreen.

The HMI430 board-level programmable logic controller (PLC) from SPLat Controls comes integrated with a 4.3-in. color resistive touchscreen. An onboard, ruggedized digital I/O, analog I/O, and SPLat MultiTrack multitasking operating system help minimize development time. The operating system provides protection against resource locking and priority inversion. Multiple serial ports offer flexibility for small- and medium-sized industrial control applications. The HMI430 uses a 120 MHz ARM Cortex-M4F processor with hardware floating point, onboard graphics control, and 512 Kbytes of flash memory for program storage. 8 Mbytes of flash supports the display for images and fonts and a 16 Mbytes display buffer allows glitch-free re-writes.
