Gallery 1 For Intel Developer Forum 2013

Sept. 11, 2013
Technology Editor Bill Wong presents a few highlights from the 2013 Intel Developer Forum.

Intel has highlighted a few new items at this point including the Quark X1000. It is a synthesizable x86 core designed for very low power, embedded applications. It is smaller than the Intel Atom, the current low end platform. The Quark is designed to be combined with a customer's own IP and built in Intel's foundaries.

This gallery highlights some of the products on display at the technology showcase at IDF 2013. There was a range of platforms from modules and Mini-ITX motherboards to microserver racks with Intel C2000 chips.
