LCD Controller Supports XGA Displays

Oct. 1, 2000

Designed to implement lower-cost, analog-input XGA monitors and projectors, the ADE2000 LCD controller accepts analog inputs with 60 Hz or 75 Hz refresh rates and provides XGA resolutions up to 1,024 x 768 pixels maximum. The device operates in a memory-less frame-lock mode that meets the requirements of low-cost systems. Integrated features include auto-sync detect circuitry, triple high-speed video a/d conversion, and dual line lock PLL. The company's analog synchronization technology analyzes incoming data to eliminate the effects that produce noise artifacts in an image. In a 352 BGA package, pricing is $15 in volume.
