Exploiting the company's decoder technology that decodes multiple MPEG-1/2 streams simultaneously with a latency under 1s, the 2400WDS and 2400SDK software development kits (SDKs) support decoding of both network RTP video and file streams. The model 2400WDS is a full-featured player that can display decoded video streams over a background map or building plan. It takes snapshots and saves them to bitmap files, and MPEG streams can be sent to a file for later playback alongside the real-time streams. Other features include pan, zoom, and tilt controls for use with cameras attached to the company's 2412 video servers. Allowing users to build their own applications, the model 2400SDK includes a set of decoder and display functions, said to simplify and shorten the development cycle of video stream player applications. The SDK is C and C++ compatible and a sample application with MFC/C++ source code is included. Prices for the 2400WDS and 2400SDK are $985 and $2,500, respectively. SENSORAY, Tigard, OR.
