Fixed focal-length lenses support instrumentation integration

Barrington, NJ. Edmund Optics (EO) has introduced its TECHSPEC UCi Series fixed focal-length lenses. Designed for space-limited applications, these lenses are ultra-compact instrumentation (UCi) versions of EO’s UC Series fixed focal-length lenses, utilizing the same optics. TECHSPEC UCi Series lenses are suitable for OEM applications requiring small, robust, and lightweight imaging tools.

TECHSPEC UCi Series fixed focal-length lenses feature 4K resolution. They are designed for small pixels less than 2.2 µm and are offered in multiple fixed apertures for a variety of applications. TECHSPEC UCi Series lenses are optimized for sensors,inches and many of the focal-length options may be used on sensors up to 1/1.8 inches. They are suitable for use with M12 x 0.5 S-mount cameras.

TECHSPEC UCi Series lenses are available in 21 models with focal lengths of 4 mm, 6 mm, or 12 mm and feature working distances that are very short or zero. Each lens is coated with an MgF2 anti-reflective coating, which offers maximum transmission from 400 to 700 nm. RoHS Compliant TECHSPEC UCi Series lenses are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
