The PS 2000 series now combines an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and an arbitrary waveform generator (ARB) into a rugged, 3.9" x 5.3" x 1.8" housing weighing less than 8 oz. Deriving power from either a PC's USB interface or external supply, the unit offers two scope channels and a built-in signal generator that produces standard library-stored waveforms. It can also output user-defined waveforms via the built-in ARB. Depending on the model, other features include bandwidths from 5 MHz to 25 MHz, sampling rates from 40 Msamples/s to 200 Msamples/s, and buffer sizes from 8 to 16 Ksamples. Including carry case, software, and two probes, prices start at $298. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
