Light weight and hand-held, the 3500A 1-GHz radio test set weighs less than 8 lbs. and embarks as the next generation 3500, originally introduced as the market’s first 1-GHz hand-held test set. In addition to lower weight, the 3500A offers improved audio analysis and operation, integrated audio test connections, a unique microphone interface for easier operation, and a cast magnesium alloy case. The instrument includes testing capabilities for AM/FM systems including power measurements, RSSI, frequency error, FM deviation, AM modulation index, SINAD, distortion, and AF level.
