DC and AC Clamp-On Performs Isolated Measurements to 500 A
Providing a current measurement accuracy of ±0.1% with a linearity error of just 20 ppm, the MK500ID high-precision DC and AC clamp-on from Danisense is designed for galvanically isolated measurements up to 500 A and DC.
The clamp-on has a phase shift of just 0.05° at frequencies below 100 Hz, with significantly enhanced high-frequency bandwidth up to 1 MHz. Thus, it's well-suited to a broad spectrum of applications, including EV battery testing, power measurement, and inverter efficiency evaluation.
The MK500ID clamp-on leverages the company's highly stable closed-loop fluxgate technology to deliver exceptional accuracy and reliability. Designed with a Ø39-mm aperture and ergonomic handling, it can handle a wide range of conductor sizes while its high-frequency bandwidth supports advanced analysis requirements.
Features include a four-meter cable for flexible deployment, with current output via a D-sub-9 connector, and optional voltage output accessories available to support diverse system configurations. Able to operate in harsh conditions, the clamp-on transducer performs across an extended temperature range from –40 to +85°C.
