Covering a variety of applications in measurement and automation systems, each of the PXI-7900 series switch modules specializes in one of three tasks. They are PXI Rev. 2.1 and PICMG 2.1 R2.0, hot-swap compliant, making them useable in either PXI or CompactPCI systems. The PXI-7901 is a general-purpose module with 16, 220-Vdc/250-Vac SPDT relays that specify a switching capacity up to 3A. The PXI-7921 relay multiplexer consists of 24 two-wire DPDT relays with operating voltages of 220 Vdc/125 Vac and a switching capacity up to 2A. Software selectable, the module offers 48 x 1 one-wire, 24 x 1 two-wire, and 12 x 1 four-wire configurations. Last but not least, the PXI-7931 (see photo) matrix module provides 32 cross-point, two-wire DPDT relays, also with operating voltages of 220 Vdc/125 Vac and a switching capacity up to 2A.
