10W compact DIP single and dual output series offers 20 models designed for space-critical, board-level applications.

The A1100RW series available from MicroPower Direct is a family of single and dual output 10W DC/DC converters. The series provides 10W of output power from a compact DIP package and is suited to space-critical, board-level applications that need moderate power levels and regulated, isolated outputs.

Twenty models operate from 2:1 input ranges of 9 to 18, 18 to 36, or 36 to 75VDC, providing tightly regulated outputs of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±12 or ±15VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1,500VDC, compliance to EN55022 Class A and efficiency as high as 88%. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the A1100RW series is 1.0Mhours.

The A1100RW family is packaged in a miniature, low profile 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40in metal case. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C ambient (+90°C case) without de-rating or heat sinking. Cooling is by free-air convection. Applications include process control systems, telecoms and data processing equipment, robotic systems and power distribution subsystems.
