25W Power Amp Operates From 800 MHz To 2.5 GHZ

April 25, 2011
Expanding the S.M.A.R.T. family of power amps is the QBS-560 that provides 25W of output power with 2.5A at 28 Vdc over a bandwidth from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHZ.

Expanding the S.M.A.R.T. family of power amps is the QBS-560 that provides 25W of output power with 2.5A at 28 Vdc over a bandwidth from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHZ. With 39 dB of (Psat) gain, the 21 to 30 Vdc unit offers +/1 dB of saturated gain flatness and automatically adjusts the active biasing to enhance efficiency under various load conditions. Other features include a push-pull design with heatsink, the ability to withstand a 10:1 load mismatch, and a variety of fault and monitoring options. SPECTRUM MICROWAVE INC., Philadelphia, PA.
