Groomed for the professional photography, DSLR market, the APS-C-format, 16-Megapixel MT9H004 image sensor promises high sensitivity, low dark current, and low readout noise in addition to still image capture at 10 fps. Leveraging the company’s dynamic response (DR) pixel technology innovation, called Aptina DR-Pix technology, the sensor delivers a 5-dB increase in signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)  under low-light conditions without sacrificing performance in high-light environments, where it can achieve a maximum SNR of 47 dB. Other features include live view video support and 1,080p/30-fps HD video recording.
