Measuring 2 mm x 2.5 mm, the RoHS-compliant MXH series oscillators in hermetically sealed, surface-mount ceramic packages operate over a wide frequency range of 1.54 MHz to 80 MHz. They rely on minimum supply voltages of 1.6 Vdc while exhibiting power consumptions during full operation as low as 8 mA. A standby function enables a power consumption of 30 mA. Other specs include an operating temperature range spanning -40ºC to +85ºC, a frequency stability as tight as ±25 PPM, maximum start-up time of 10 ms, rise/fall time of 4 ns, and an aging rate of ±5 PPM for the first year. Waveform output is HCMOS compatible and tri-state functionality comes standard. Prices start at $1.65 each/1,000. MMD COMPONENTS, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. (877) 663-2667.
