Targeting high availability telecommunications installations, the Schroff Pro Series 9U, 8-slot CompactPCI system is NEBS ready and fully compatible with IEEE 1101.10, 1101.11 and CompactPCI requirements. The system accepts up to eight 6U x 160 mm cards and an 8HP CPU from the front as well as eight 6U x 80 mm rear transition cards.Other features include an 8-slot CompactPCI, hot-swap backplane with all slots on 4HP (0.8") centers, a 350W hot-swap power supply, three highly accessible plug-in fan trays with power cord, filtered front air intake and rear exhaust, EMC shielding, and drive bays for one 5.25" and two 3.5" drives. The case comes standard in white with custom colors available. Optional configurations include 3U to 10U sizes, 4- to 8-slot backplanes with user-specified bussing, and a variety of cooling and power options. Price starts at $2,950 each.
