Available with a 2.16 packet switch, Fabric-compliant backplane, the Fabric 585 Series CompactPCI chassis provides a total of eight vertical slots packaged in a 9U, lightweight aluminum enclosure with a flush card cage. Slot 8 is double-wide and is reserved as the CPU slot, while Slot 7 is reserved as a Fabric slot. The backplane also includes the H.110 and IPMB buses and includes space for one 5.25" x 1.63" device on a double-wide carrier card and two 3.5" x 1.0" devices, one accessible, on a single-wide carrier card are included. Transitional 80-mm I/O cards, 1101.11 compliant, are optional. A five-output, 320W auto-select 90 Vac to 264 Vac ATX power supply is standard and the cooling subsystem consists of two 50 cfm, dc ball-bearing fans and a 35 cfm power supply exhaust fan.
