Boasting of excellent EMI shielding combined with superior mechanical performance, the Pac-2000 front panels are constructed with continuous elastomeric, conductive-foam gasketing along the edges rather than the more common construction method that employs metal teeth. In addition to EMI protection, his design is also said to eliminate the problems of snagging, breakage and scratching of adjacent metal surfaces, which are common with metal-to-metal construction. The panels are available in widths of 0.8: (4HP), 1.2" (6HP) or 1.6" (8HP) and heights of 3U, 6U or 9U. An assortment of handles is available including fixed handles for VME and VXI applications. Various IEEE 1101.10/11-compliant injectors and ejectors, including standard, hot-swappable and low-profile versions are also available. Pricing varies with size and delivery is typically from stock.
