The 1400N series pushbutton switches have a square actuator button measuring 0.472'' and available in four different colors: black, green, red and ivory. The black bezel style body snap-fits into a 0.562'' x 0.649'' panel cutout in panels up to 0.078'' thick. Maximum dimensions of the bezel on a front panel measure 0.708'' square. The series of switches includes configurations for normally-closed, normally-open and changeover (normally closed/normally open). Three terminal styles-solder lug, printer circuit and 0.185'' x 0.031'' quick connect-are also optional. The switches have contact ratings of 2A at 250 Vac or 4 A at 125 Vac, with a minimum life of 10,000 cycles. Initial contact resistance is 10 milliohms max at 1 Amp 2 Vdc, and dielectric strength is 1,500 V rms between terminals or 2,000 V rms between terminals and front panel. Insulation resistance is set at 1,000 megaohms min. at 500 Vdc. These models operate in a -20ûC to 55ûC environment. Pricing for a representative normally closed model with solder lug terminals, no. 1412NC2, is $0.85 each/1,000. APEM COMPONENTS INC., Haverhill, MA. (978) 372-1602.
