Catering to designs related to security panels, public kiosks, vending machines, ATM machines, handicap access control panels, and heavy hydraulic lift equipment, the AV series pushbutton switches employ over-molded actuators. The switches feature a stainless steel actuator with thermoplastic over molding and are available in a variety of colors. Actuator styles include illuminated ring or illuminated ring and disc models. Electrical and general specifications include power ratings of 50 mA maximum at 24 Vdc resistive load and an electrical life of one million cycles at full load. Initial contact resistance is 100 mΩ maximum, and dielectric strength is 500 VRMS minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C. Additionally, the components are available in both solder lug and straight PC terminals. APEM COMPONENTS INC., Haverhill, MA.(978) 372-1602.
