Designed for tough environments, the MSM switch carries a water-resistant rating of IP 67, making it suitable for use in equipment exposed to liquid spills, drips, leaks or wash-downs. A shock resistant rating of IK 07 makes the MSM suitable for environments where the switch can be subject to heavy use or impact. The switch is rated for a voltage range of 5 to 250 Vdc and a current range of 0.1A to 10A and can operate at temperatures ranging from –25°C to +85°C. A flat front construction of 1.7 mm provides a nearly flush mounting to the panel surface, making it less conspicuous and less likely to be knocked or battered from the side. Actuation force is 4.5N. Contact travel is 1 mm with a fixed stop and audible click. Switching action is single-pole, momentary with N.O. and N.C. contacts. Three sizes are available with mounting diameters of 16 mm, 19 mm and 22 mm. Pricing is $7.34 each/100. SCHURTER INC., Santa Rosa, CA. (800) 848-2600.
