Applications that require a long operating life can benefit from the TL1150 series of through-hole tact switches. The two-lead, 6 mm x 6 mm switches offer a 1 million cycle operating life expectancy. The devices’ contact rating is 50 mA at 30 Vdc, and dielectric strength is 600 Vac. Contact resistance is 100 mΩ at 5 Vdc, and insulation resistance is 100 MΩΩ, minimum. Activation force is 70 ±20 gf, with a travel of 0.35 mm ±0.2 mm. The TL1150’s operating temperature range -25°C to +85°C. Suitable applications include telecommunications, consumer electronics, audio-visual, medical, testing and instrumentation, and computer peripherals.
