Touted for its advanced design and versatility for housing mobile electronics, a new handheld enclosure is useful for data-collection units, measuring and control equipment, medical and wellness devices. The DATEC-CONTROL enclosure has an ergonomic exterior design incorporating a circular head section for the displays. The grip area is narrow on all sizes so the unit can be operated for long periods. Four standard sizes range from 7.87" x 2.28" x 1.57" to 10.47" x 3.54" x 2.36". Cases are molded in off-white or black ABS and come with or without a large display window for mounting standard LCD modules including graphics modules. Suited for outdoor use, a sealing kit protects the components up to IP 65 requirements. All models have battery compartments as an option, and will accept up to two 9V flat cells or five 1.5V AA cells. The two larger size units have plug-in battery packs for units that frequently need to be recharged. Wall and desk stations can be used for downloading data and charging. Pricing starts at $11.
