A new line of high-power laser diodes, including a wide selection of laser emitters in the 650-nm to 1550-nm range at various power outputs and PIN photodiodes and laser modules, is available. The modules feature integrated driver circuitry and built-in InGaAs monitor photodiodes. Applications for the product line include laser pointers, barcode scanners and readers, telecomm systems, and medical devices such as diagnostic and surgical systems.Other key features of the laser emitters include a hermetically sealed active component; high-temperature operation without a thermoelectric cooler; and 5-mW CW operation from -40°C to 85°C.
