Raising image quality to a new level, a 150” diagonal LED video display developed by FormoLight Technologies employs OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ compact Multi ChipLEDs.

Raising image quality to a new level, a 150” diagonal LED video display developed by FormoLight Technologies employs OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ compact Multi ChipLEDs. The display is said to provide high brightness and high contrast with sharp, vivid images for indoor and outdoor applications and is clearly viewable from any angle. The RGB Multi ChipLEDs used are thought to be the smallest RGB LEDs currently on the market. The LEDs are not used as backlighting sources, but are visible on the surface of the display; they remain undetected by viewers because of their compact, 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.9 mm size.
