They boast of automatic voltage regulation without going to battery and support for Windows 95/98/ME/NT and Novell Netware and UNIX and LINUX software. The first member of the line, the IBP 1000, protects multiple servers in 1U of rack space. The UPSs are also said to offer optimized battery management (OBM) with microprocessor-controlled battery discharge and recharge that extends battery life and provides an early warning detection of battery failure. Other features include EMI/RFI filtering and multiple levels of protection.
