Real-time extensions for Windows NT are available from Version 4.3 of HyperKernel, which now includes a self-hosted HyperKernel Debug Trace utility that allows users the ability to debug and trace their HyperKernel applications. The debug utility comes standard with version 4.3; the utility records various user-selected time stamped events in real time. The trace functionality may be controlled through the trace utility or programmatically within a running HyperKernel application through the use of new HyperKernel API functions. Event recording may be controlled through the use of one or more start and stop triggers. Another new addition is the HyperKernel Runtime Manager (RTM), a Windows NT application used to launch, monitor and terminate HyperKernel applications. It includes a GUI for displaying identification and statistical data on HyperKernel processes.
