Claiming to be the industry’s fastest, the CY7CxxxAV family of 16 Mb, asynchronous SRAM is manufactured using the company’s 0.15 µm, RAM7 process technology enabling speeds of up to 8 ns. The CY7C1061AV, configured as 1M x 16, and CY7C1069AV, configured as 2M x 8, are each available in either a 54-pin TSOP II or 48-ball fine-pitch ball grid array package (fBGA). The CY7C1062AV comes in a 512 Kb x 32 configuration and is available in a 119-ball plastic ball grid array (PBGA) package. Targeted applications include communications end markets, wireless infrastructures, and wide area network (WAN) applications such as asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) modems, digital signal processing (DSP) and optical networking interfaces.
