Debuting as the first member of a family of intelligent thermal management devices, the aSC7511 monitors temperature locally and remotely via a unique temperature-sensing technology that provides a remote accuracy of ±1°C and an internal accuracy of ±3°C. Two selectable operating-temperature ranges are provided: 0°C to +127°C for local sensing and -55°C to +150°C for remote sensing. In still air, maximum self-heating temperature is +0.2°C. The device operates from a 3V to 5V supply and consumes an operating current of less than 215 µA. Other features include an offset register for system calibration. Price is $185 each/1,000.
