Combining an industry-standard NEMA 23 mounting with a 16-mm hole and a high-resolution encoder, the HO series brushless servo motors are designed for performing light assembly and inspection tasks. The motors are a cross between a brushless servo motor and a precision rotary stage, with an internally-mounted glass encoder grating allowing for standard resolutions greater than 29 million counts/revolution with repeatability at 0.3 microradians. The grating is aligned to better than 24 microradians of absolute accuracy. Torque curves provide less than 1% harmonic distortion and standard windings are available for 12V, 24V, and 48V operation. Custom windings are also available. Other features include a continuous torque up to 10.8 oz.-in., peak torque up to 32 oz.-in., speed of 2,000 rpm at 24V, and a resistance of 4.9?.
