Designed to take up little space, the HS35 incremental encoder requires no flexible couplings or mounting adapters and measures only 1.86" deep. The encoder is designed to save users up to 3" of mounting space. Other encoder features include an unbreakable metal disk engineered to withstand severe shock and vibration and a unique floating-shaft mount that prevents excessive shaft loading caused by misalignment or coupling wind up. Designed to meet CE requirements, the HS35 incremental encoder is protected against overvoltage, reverse voltage, and output shorts and can operate at temperatures from -20°C to 85°C. Resolutions are available to 16,384 counts in square wave and sine/cosine outputs and a full range of output drivers and bore sizes to 30 mm are also available.
