Available with ratings of 25, 32, 50, 64, 100, 128 and 256 cycles per revolution, the Series 61Z optical encoders are redundant-circuitry types that are rated to 10 million life cycles minimum. The high-resolution encoders are easily adapted to industrial settings and are available with several termination options, including pin, cable and custom assemblies. Custom resolutions are also available for the encoders, which can handle shaft speeds to 300 rpm. Applications include medical, avionics and automotive equipment, as well as other menu select functions.
