Designed for use in applications requiring rectification, half-control or full control, the CD6 is the newest member of the company's POW-R-BLOK family of SCR/diode modules. Isolated for easy mounting with other components on a common heat sink, the UL-approved devices are rated at 800V to 2000V and 150A and 160A and are manufactured with direct bond copper construction, allowing for high durability and reliability. The use of glass passivated die improves reliability at high temperature reverse bias and offers moisture resistant characteristics to the device. Targeted applications include large IBGT circuit front ends, ac and dc motor drives, battery supplies, power supplies, heat and temperature control, and bridge circuits. Type CD631615A is priced at $56 in sample quantities.
