Olympus super apochromatic objectives offer high sensitivity to fluorescence emissions

Dec. 29, 2017

Barrington, NJ. Edmund Optics announced it is now offering new super apochromatic objectives manufactured by Olympus. These silicone-immersion objectives are suitable for use in a variety of digital imaging applications, including high-resolution observations deep within living tissue.

Olympus super apochromatic objectives provide high sensitivity to fluorescence emissions, resulting in clear images that do not contain color shift. The objectives correct for spherical and chromatic aberrations for the visible and the NIR spectra. Olympus super apochromatic objectives feature high numerical apertures for excellent optical resolution and high performance.

RoHS-compliant Olympus super apochromatic objectives are available in five models, with magnifications ranging from 4X to 60X. The objectives have a field number of 26.5 and focal lengths ranging from 3 mm to 45 mm. All optical elements in the objectives feature antireflective (AR) coatings for increased transmission through the lens. Olympus super apochromatic objectives are in-stock and available for immediate delivery.
