A  newly released industrial microcontroller portfolio from Infineon is equipped with peripherals such as CAN FD, TCPWM, and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), with a single- and dual-core Arm Cortex-M7 Arm, both supported by a Cortex-M0+, to meet the dynamic and demanding conditions of industrial applications.

The XMC7000 architecture uses a low-power 40-nm process technology with best-in-class compute performance for high-end industrial applications. The XMC7200 integrates GbE, providing reliable connectivity for always-on applications. Available in two series, the XMC7100 and XMC7200, the devices are available in TQFP and LFBGA packages scaling from 100 to 272 pins. The family addresses industrial market needs and is ideal for motor control, digital power conversion, and I/O applications.
