A new 2.92 mm precision connector has been designed for applications up to 40 GHz, and is useable to 46 GHz. The RF29M-SR1 connector conforms to IEEE 287 standard. This 50 connector is mechanically compatible with SMA and 3.5 mm connectors and has a shortened male pin, ensuring a non-destructive mating process.
