Enhancing the company’s standard MIL-DTL-55116 capacitive filtered audio connectors is an improved design that offers ESD protection up to 8 kV direct discharge and 15 kV air discharge. Custom designs addressing other discharge requirements are available. The EMI-filtered/ESD-protected connectors are suitable for aviation, communication and security applications. Other features include a capacitance value range from 10 pF to 1 µF and the connectors are available in C and Pi circuit configurations. Pricing for EMI-filtered/ESD-protected audio connectors ranges from $20 to $150 each depending on configuration and quantity.
