A modular terminal block with a fully extruded seamless nickel-plated copper alloy clamping body, the 9700A Series comes with a rapid mounting tool that lets more than 100 blocks be mounted in less than 90 seconds. Receptacles for marking tags of up to 3 digits are embedded on each side of the 9700 terminal blocks. The blocks are available in: 5-mm wide versions for 22 to 12 AWG wire and rated for 600V at 25A; 6-mm wide styles for 22 to 10 AWG for 600V at 35A; 8-mm wide units for 8 to 18 AWG for 600V at 55A; 10-mm wide models for 6 to 16 AWG for 600V at 70A; and 12 mm wide versions for 14 to 4 AWG for 600V at 100A.
