Slide Pot Also Packs Power Switch

July 1, 1999

Series 448 slide potentiometer includes an integral SPDT power switch to let designers realize a linear variable resistance adjustment and SPDT switch action in a single device. With switch and potentiometer combined, users eliminate inventories of separate switches and pots. Resistance range is 500 ohms to 1 Megaohm with tolerance of ±10% or ±20%. Applications include appliance controls, lighting products, fan speed, computers and peripherals, and instrumentation.
