OTEK's Latest DPM Leverages Multicolor LED Tech

OTEK’s New Technology Series (NTM) of efficient multicolor LED-based displays work in tandem with ASIC nanotechnology to provide ±0.5% accuracy across all 22 models. Features common to all models of the NTM series include Auto Tri-Color bar and digital display, input signal failure detection and alarm, isolated serial I/O, remote display for SCADA/DCS, self diagnostics, math functions-Polynomials and X-Y tables, as well as customizable options. Provided with a lifetime warranty, OTEK customizes its technology to reverse-engineer replacements for obsolete meters/controllers, for Plug-and-Play deployment.

First in the series is the NTM-0 model, a 3.8” x1.9” horizontal digital panel meter that replaces any 1/8th DIN analog or digital meter. Available in either a plastic or metal housing, the NTM-0 single-channel display has an automatic tricolor bargraph with intensity control, which can be powered by loop current (4-20mA), AC/DC, V/A signal, or externally. This intelligent unit also features a signal-fail alarm with runtime stamp, self diagnostics, and an isolated serial I/O. Additional features include math functions, USB/RS485, a configurable bar direction, 4 relays or open collector transistors, over 30 isolated input signals, and a power consumption of 100mW at 5VDC.
