Described as a low-cost device, the LPC935 eight-bit microcontroller integrates two a/d converters, allowing it to simultaneously convert and read data in two channels. With a conversion speed of less than 4 ms, the device is the lead member of the LPC900 family, which includes the LPC904, LPC915/6/7, LPC924/5, and LPC933/4/5. The devices feature byte-erasable flash technology, a processor architecture that executes instructions in 167 ns at 12 MHz, three additional 16-bit counter/timers, I2C-bus, and enhanced UART and SPI. Prices range from $0.66 to $1.87 each/10,000. ROYAL PHILIPS ELECTRONICS, San Jose, CA. (408) 617-4700.
