Communications Modules Fit Embedded Systems

The ModemModule MT5634SMI is a full-featured v.90 modem for 56 kbps PCM communications and the ModemModule MT3334SMI is the corresponding v.34 model for 33.6 kbps communications. Both models include integrated data and FAX communications and are available in versions for use worldwide. Based on the Lucent 1673 and 1670 chipsets, these FAX/modem solutions include the controller, data pump and DAA. Dimensions are 1.045" x 2.541" x 0.690" weighing 0.6 oz. Typical power consumption is 260 mA at 5 vdc to a maximum of 420 mA at 5.25 vdc.
