RF Amp Delivers Higher Power Margin

April 1, 2002

With a higher power margin and improved features over the previous W series model, the 250W1000A RF power amplifier delivers a minimum of 250W and a bandwidth from 80 MHz to 1 GHz. The new model is also said to be lighter and smaller than its predecessor. Special added features include automatic leveling control (ALC), forward and reflected power monitoring, and a power factor corrected power supply. Other features include air cooling, push-pull circuitry in all high-power stages, and a digital control panel that provides local and remote control.
