Providing another installation option, the RCT series 2.45-GHz antennas now include a straight form-factor version, branching off as the CT series. The 1/2-wave, omni-directional antenna features an internal counterpoise that eliminates external ground plane dependence and maximizes performance. It attaches via a standard SMA or Part 15-compliant RPSMA connector. Designed for cost-sensitive applications, the PML series 1/2-wave antenna mounts permanently and provides a tilt range of 180°. It also employs an internal counterpoise to eliminate external ground plane dependence. The antenna is available in 868-MHz and 916-MHz versions and its threaded base attaches with either a nut or by threading it into a PEM-style insert. The PML series attaches to a PCB or connector via an 8.5" coax cable. Custom colors, cable lengths, and terminations are available. Prices for the CT and PML series are $3.96 and $4.64 each/1,000, respectively. ANTENNA FACTOR, Merlin, OR. (800) 489-1634.
