A line of dual tracking precision trimmer capacitors works in the GHz range. The tuning screw of the split stator style adjusts two capacitors at the same rate, and the capacitors have one common terminal. A new sapphire dielectric part KZ3S tunes from 0.3 to 3 pF. The item performs at more than 2 GHz; at 250 MHz, the Q is over 1,500. Working voltage is 4,000 Vdc. Measuring only 0.53", the capacitor can be finely tuned over 10 full turns.
