Set for portable and handheld designs, the company’s latest line of EIA 0201 ferrite chip beads extends its existing 0402 to 3312 surface-mounted monolithic EMI-suppression components to include the LI0201 chip beads with a smaller foot-print. Sporting a monolithic assembly and measuring 0.6 mm x 0.3 mm x 0.3 mm, the bead offers approximately 40% mounting space savings over the existing 0402 products. Additionally, the chip beads promise superior EMI noise filtering and can be placed close to the EMI source or receptor of the external interface or the internal signal interconnection.
