Rehana Begg | Editor-in-Chief | Machine Design
Rehana Begg is the Editor-in-Chief of Machine Design. Her beat focuses on industrial manufacturing, engineering, operations and management. Begg holds a master’s degree in journalism and an MBA in project management. She leads the Design & Engineering Group’s WISE (Workers in Science & Engineering) initiative, a hub that compiles coverage of workplace issues affecting STEM fields. WISE won Endeavor Business Media’s Brand DEI Initiative in 2022.
Sherri Monroe | Executive Director | Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA)
Sherri Monroe is the Executive Director of the Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA), a global nonprofit trade group founded to understand and promote the environmental benefits of additive manufacturing throughout the manufacturing ecosystem and through the entire lifecycle. Monroe brings leadership experience from both the for-profit and non-profit sectors driving innovation development and innovative re-imagining in some very established organizations as well as start-ups. Previously she has provided independent consulting services to top-level organizations as well as serving in leadership at large national and global humanitarian NGOs, and strategic relationship management, innovation, and product development at multiple early-stage technology companies. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rollins College in Florida.
Christine Reilley | Managing Director of Strategy and Innovation | ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers)
Christine Reilley is Managing Director of Strategy and Innovation for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), based in New York City. Previously, she led the Healthcare Technology Team, which focuses on creating and growing the Society’s portfolio of programs, products, and services in this area. Reilley had previously served as program manager in the ASME Emerging Technologies unit, developing content and conferences in areas focusing on bioengineering, nanotechnology, thermofluids and materials. Previously, she spent more than 10 years in ASME Codes and Standards Publishing as an editor, overseeing the production of codes from manuscript to final bound and digital product. Reilly had been a senior editor for Research and Education Association (REA), an educational publishing company, and also served as a technical editor and science writer for UC San Diego’s Biomedical Informatics Research Network (BIRN) and the National Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research (NCMIR). She earned an MS in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). She received a BA in Journalism and Mass Media with a minor in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, Douglass College.
