Powered by a 1.8-GHz Intel Atom N2800 CPU with heatsink, Sealevel Systems’ 121004-KT QuickStart kit offers the tools needed to expedite COM Express design. It simplifies software development and prototyping during design of the target application carrier board. The kit integrates 4 Gbytes of RAM and a 2.5-in., 32-Gbyte solid-state disk. Standard interfaces include five USB 2.0, two RS-232 and one RS-485, dual Gigabit Ethernet, SATA, and DisplayPort, as well as audio interfaces. The 121004-KT uses the COM Express Compact Type 6 connector layout module and COM Express Type 6 reference carrier board, the same as those used in the company’s Relio R2 and R3 industrial computers.
