Do You Recognize These?

Oct. 28, 2021
Electronic Design will turn 70 in 2022. Do you recognize any of these electronic items from the past?

This series is in the Electronic History section of our Series Library.

Electronic Design magazine has been around a long time. It will turn 70 years old in 2022 and we're just getting started. While most of the articles on the site involve current and future products and technologies, it's sometimes fun to look back at all of the technology that got us here.

We're also interested in your input, so click here if you have suggestions for topics or products that would be fun to see.

Below is the list of galleries. Check back often to see new ones or subscribe to our newsletter that will include them as they're published.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.

I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.
