Astronics and TrellisWare collaborate on compact tactical radio

East Aurora, NY. Astronics Test Systems has announced a strategic technology collaboration with TrellisWare Technologies Inc., a developer of advanced algorithms, waveforms, and communications systems. This collaboration will integrate TrellisWare TSM radio test capability into the Astronics Test Systems’ CTS-6000 Series Radio Test Set to improve operational readiness for TSM radio users.

In turn, this collaboration will deliver new, industry-leading capabilities to the ATS CTS-6000, including the ability to run user-guided, automated field tests for TSM radios and to directly update TSM radio software and firmware using the CTS-6000. In addition to TrellisWare’s own TW-400 CUB radio, TrellisWare TSM technology is also incorporated into tactical radios from the industry’s largest manufacturers.
