Well-suited for use in laser printer and telecomm products, the PI90LVxxx family of single, low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) driver, receiver, transceiver and repeater devices are said to meet or exceed ANSI TIA/EIA-644-1955 specs. The PI90LV01 driver and PI90LVB01 driver with high drive and PI90LV03 repeater and PI90LVB03 repeater with high drive support signaling rates up to 660 Mb/s, while the PI90LV02 receiver and PI90LVT02 receiver with termination and PI90LVB010 transceiver support rates of up to 400 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s, respectively. The ICs operate from a 3.3V supply over a -40°C to 85°C temperature range and feature bus terminal ESD protection in excess of 2 kV. The ICs come in 5- and 6-pin SOT23 and MSOPs costing $0.75 to $2 each/1,000. PERICOM SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., San Jose, CA. (800) 435-2336.
