Expanding the McLean brand ProAir line of heat exchangers to seven, models are now available with efficiencies ranging from 4 W/ûF to 84 W/ûF and capable of operating in temperatures up to 155ûF. The latest models range in size from 7.5" x 3" with a height of 20" for the XR20 to 15" x 9.92" at a height of 59.9" for the XR60.The exchangers are designed to mount to either narrow or shallow enclosures, as well as to any internal or external surface. According to the company, in a small enclosure with a heat load of 300W where the heat rise is expected to be about 50ûF above the ambient temperature, the XR20 will limit the heat rise to approximately 24ûF above the ambient and the XR29 will keep the temperature within approximately 15ûF above the ambient temperature.
